Description

A high-carb flow gel delivering 300g of carbohydrate in one resealable pouch for big training days and long races.

Product description

Precision Fuel & Hydration PF 300 Flow Gel delivers 300g of carbohydrate in one pouch, giving endurance athletes a practical way to carry and consume large amounts of fuel during long rides, races and demanding training sessions. Precision position it as a solution for big efforts where carrying enough fuel used to be awkward, with a re-engineered gel that flows more easily without needing added water.

This is not a standard race gel. It’s a bulk fuelling format designed for athletes who want to track and manage carbohydrate intake more accurately over time, especially when using a bottle or flask.

Like the rest of the Precision range, PF 300 Flow Gel uses a 2:1 glucose to fructose ratio to support carbohydrate uptake, and Precision describe it as an easier-flowing version of their gel designed to reduce mess, faff and wastage. They also mark it as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free.

At Ready Sweat Go, we like PF 300 because it solves a very real endurance problem. When you’re fuelling properly for a marathon, long sportive, ultra or triathlon, standard gels can become fiddly, repetitive and hard to manage. PF 300 gives you a more efficient way to carry serious fuel in one place and use it steadily across the session.

If PF 30 is the simple everyday gel, and PF 90 is the resealable 90g pouch for taking in portions, PF 300 is the one for athletes who want steady fuelling over time with less mess and more control. Precision also highlight athlete Leon Chevalier’s feedback that it saves time and helps him keep tabs on intake more efficiently.

Why Ready Sweat Go loves Precision Fuel & Hydration Gels.

Precision Energy Gels are built around a simple idea: fuel and hydration work best when they’re treated separately. By delivering clearly defined carbohydrate amounts without added electrolytes, these gels let you adjust energy intake independently from sodium, based on conditions, duration, and how you personally respond.

The neutral flavour profile reduces flavour fatigue during long sessions, while the range of formats makes it easy to scale intake from everyday training through to marathon and ultra-distance events. It’s a clean, flexible approach that removes guesswork and puts control back with the athlete.

PF30 is an excellent all-round option, but every athlete has different preferences for flavour, texture, caffeine and carbohydrate per serving.

Precision Gels - FAQs

Who uses Precision Energy Gels?

Precision Energy Gels are used by professional and elite endurance athletes as well as serious amateur runners, cyclists, triathletes, and ultra-distance competitors.

Professional athletes known to use Precision Fuel & Hydration products include Lucy Charles-Barclay, Sam Laidlow, and Kristian Blummenfelt, alongside many athletes competing at the highest level of Ironman, Olympic-distance triathlon, marathon running, and ultra-endurance racing.

These gels are commonly chosen by athletes who want precise control over carbohydrate intake and a fuelling system that scales from training through to elite competition.
What are the differences between Precisions Energy Gels?

The difference between Precision gels is the amount of carbohydrate delivered per serving and the format, not flavours or additives.

  • PF30 Energy Gel provides 30g of carbohydrate per gel and is designed for most training sessions and races. Two to four an hour, depending on your effort.
  • PF30 Caffeine Gel provides 30g of carbohydrate plus caffeine, typically used later in races or when mental fatigue increases.
  • PF90 Gel provides 90g of carbohydrate in a single gel, reducing the number of gels needed during longer efforts.
  • PF300 Flow Gel provides 300g of carbohydrate in a multi-serve, liquid format designed for ultra-distance events or long rides. One gel to rule them all.

All gels are neutral in flavour and designed to be mixed and matched depending on session length and intensity.

Which Precision Energy Gel should I choose?

Most athletes start with PF30 Energy Gel, as it is easy to use, easy to stack, and suitable for both training and racing.

  • Choose PF30 for everyday fuelling
  • Choose PF30 Caffeine for later stages of races
  • Choose PF90 for long sessions where carrying fewer gels matters
  • Choose PF300 Flow for ultra-distance events or continuous fuelling over several hours
Do Precision Energy Gels contain Electrolytes?

No. Precision Energy Gels do not contain meaningful electrolytes, and this is intentional.

Precision Fuel & Hydration separates fuel (carbohydrate) from hydration (sodium) so that each can be adjusted independently. This allows athletes to tailor carbohydrate intake without over- or under-consuming electrolytes, especially when conditions or sweat rates change.

Electrolytes can be added separately using Precision Hydration products.
Why chose Precision Energy gels?

Precision Energy Gels are designed for accuracy, simplicity, and gut comfort rather than flavour or novelty.

Compared with many other gels, they:

  • Clearly state carbohydrate content per serving
  • Avoid strong flavours that cause fatigue
  • Exclude unnecessary ingredients
  • Allow fuelling and hydration to be managed separately
Are Precision Energy Gels gentle on the stomach?

Yes. Precision gels are widely regarded as gut-friendly due to their neutral flavour and straightforward formulation.

Many athletes switch to Precision gels after experiencing stomach discomfort or flavour fatigue with sweeter or more complex gels.
Can Precision Energy Gels be used with other fuel or hydration products?

Yes. Precision gels are designed to work as part of a flexible fueling system. They can be combined with electrolyte drinks, carbohydrate drinks, or solid food depending on the athlete’s needs, session length, and intensity.
Are Precision Energy Gels vegan and free from common allergens?

Yes. Precision Energy Gels are suitable for vegans and are free from common allergens, including gluten, dairy, and soy.

They are formulated without unnecessary ingredients, making them suitable for athletes who prefer a simple, minimal approach to fueling or who need to avoid common dietary allergens.
As with all sports nutrition products, athletes with specific medical allergies should always check the ingredient list before use.
